National Board of Arbitrators
 
 
1. Justice within the Club Alpino Italiano is administered over two levels: the first regional or
 
inter-regional, the second at central level; the Regional Board of Arbitrators arbitrates over the first level,
 
the National Board of Arbitrators arbitrates over the second level.
 
 
 
2. The Board of Arbitrators has five members.
 
 
 
3.The board elects its own chair and vice chair from among its own members. The chair convenes and chairs 
the board’s sessions.
 
 
 
4. The board arbitrates and decides on any controversies under its jurisdiction – in compliance with the principles, procedures and terms established by the specific regulations; it designates the Regional Board of Arbitrators able to arbitrate and decide in the first instance on controversies between members, bodies or local units of the various Regional Groups or between the central unit and Regional Groups.
 
 
5. The Board of Arbitrators’ decisions are irrevocable and binding.
