Board of Auditors
The Board of Auditors inspects, corrects and certifies the accounts and the financial, economic and asset management of the Club Alpino Italiano; it examines the balance sheets; expresses opinions whenever asked, with written reports sent to the Central Committee; it attends the sessions of the Assembly of Delegates, the Presidential Committee and the Central Committee.
The Board of Auditors consists of two effective auditors and one substitute and of a representative nominated by the Italian Treasury. The members of the board serve a three-year term: one of them is elected Chair and is charged with convening and chairing the Board’s sessions.
All of them can be re-elected one first time and then again after at least one year’s interruption.
The Board of Auditors meets at least once every quarter.
