The CAI’s Central Planning and Supervisory Committee can set up Advisory Central Technical Teams, Operative Central Technical Teams and operative units.
 
 
 
 
 
These operate within the context of the central framework in order to promote or pursue the Club’s specific short or long-term aims; the Central Planning and Supervisory Committee selects, nominates or elects the members and the chair of such teams, as well as being in charge of their directives, coordination and control.
 
 
 
 
 
The Central Operative Technical Teams are governed by a single set of regulations, the operative units are each governed by their own rules, subject to the approval (including any modifications) of the Central Planning and Supervisory Committee, which can grant them broad organizational, functional and asset management autonomy. In the latter case, the ways of selecting, nominating or electing the various members of these bodies are established by the regulations themselves.
